Manufacturing, wholesale and agency
Three strands of work, all of them food trade, all of them business to business. What follows describes the work in plain terms; the detail of any particular line is settled at enquiry stage.
Manufacturing
Meat and poultry products for the Asian food trade
The manufacturing side covers the processing and preserving of meat and the production of meat and poultry meat products. In practice that means taking raw meat and poultry and working it into a defined product: cut and portioned to a size, seasoned or marinated to a recipe, formed, cooked or left raw as the specification requires, then packed and labelled for the buyer.
What we make is intended for the Asian food trade, so recipes, formats and pack presentation tend to follow what that trade expects rather than a general grocery format. Where a customer brings their own recipe or specification, we work to that instead.
Product detail is agreed before anything is made — the meat and cut, the recipe, the weight and count, the pack, the labelling and the allergen and ingredient information the buyer needs to carry.
Wholesale
Meat and meat products, sold on trade terms
Alongside what we make, we wholesale meat and meat products. A wholesale buyer is buying to resell, to cook with commercially, or to use as an ingredient in their own production, and the quantities and paperwork follow from that.
Enquiries are handled line by line. Tell us the product and the format you want and we will confirm whether we can supply it, in what pack, and on what basis. Availability is confirmed at the time of enquiry rather than promised in advance, because it moves.
We do not publish a price list. Prices are quoted against a stated line and quantity, in writing.
Agency
Acting between a supplier and a buyer
The company is also registered as an agent involved in the sale of food, beverages and tobacco. On that footing we introduce and arrange a sale between a supplier and a buyer rather than holding and reselling the goods ourselves.
Agency work is only ever taken on where the basis is set out in writing first: what is being sold, between whom, who carries responsibility for the goods, and how we are paid. If that cannot be agreed, we would rather not act.
What we do not do
Being clear about this saves everyone a call:
- We do not sell to the public. There is no shop counter, no consumer ordering and no mail order to households.
- We do not quote prices, lead times or delivery arrangements on this website. Those are quoted against a specific line, in writing.
- We do not take an order from a specification we have not seen and confirmed.
Everything else starts with an enquiry.
