Who we supply, and on what footing

Freshasia Foods sells to businesses that are buying to resell, to cook with commercially, or to manufacture from. Everything on this page follows from that one fact.

Four kinds of buyer

What each of them usually needs from us

  1. Retail

    Retailers

Grocers and food shops buying finished lines for a shelf or a chilled counter. Their questions are usually about pack format, the labelling that has to appear on the product, and how consistently a line can be repeated.

  2. Catering

    Caterers

Restaurants, takeaways and catering businesses buying prepared meat and poultry to cook from. Their questions are usually about cut, portion weight, how the product is presented in the pack, and what the kitchen has to do to it.

  3. Wholesale

    Wholesalers

Distributors and cash-and-carry buyers taking stock on to their own customers. Their questions are usually about case configuration, product coding and what can be repeated to order.

  4. Manufacture

    Manufacturers

Food producers buying meat and meat products as an ingredient. Their questions are usually about specification — the exact material, how it is prepared, and what documentation has to travel with it.

Trade only

We do not sell to the public

There is no consumer shop, no household delivery and no online basket on this site. If you have arrived looking to buy for your own kitchen, we are not the right company and we would rather say so plainly than take up your time.

For a business enquiry, it helps if the first message makes clear who the buying company is — the trading name, the registered name and number if they differ, and the address the goods would be invoiced to. That lets us pick the enquiry up properly instead of asking three follow-up questions.

Working together

How a trade account is set up

New trade customers are taken on case by case. We will normally want to know the buying entity, the nature of its business, the lines it is interested in and who we should be dealing with. If a credit facility is being asked for, that is a separate conversation with its own paperwork, and it is settled in writing before any order is placed against it.

Until an account is open, business is done on the basis set out in the written quotation for the order in question. Nothing on this website forms part of a contract — see the terms of use.
